What You'll Do

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you'll provide non-medical support that helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Depending on the needs of the client, your day may include:

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments
• Helping with laundry and keeping the home tidy
• Participating in activities that bring joy and purpose to a client's day

Every client is different, which means every day can look a little different.
